The Keeper

I believe I am the keeper for my best friend Kayla. She and I have danced together for a long time now and she is the closest thing I have to a sister. We spend a lot of time together even though our lives are pretty busy and we could get through anything together. We are in each others lives for the happiest and the hardest time and we go to each other for everything no matter how bad or embarrassing it may be. I will always be there for her whenever she needs me even if we someday lose touch because after everything we have gone through together she is my family.

The History behind my Name

My name is Megan but this was not the name I was originally going to have.I had two names my parents had picked out for me before I was born. They were Lacey and Brooke but at last moment they changed it. The night before, my mom was watching her favorite movie at the time, Thorn birds, and one of her favorite characters was named Meg. That is how she chose to name me Megan. She loved the name so much and more than the others she chose that one. Back in 1995 is was the 13th most popular girl name out there and it means soft and gentle. I like my name because I can't really imagine myself as having another name. The other two names they had picked out don't seem as right as Megan. I also had the name William for if I was a boy. William is my grandfather's name which is why they were going to name me this. It means protector. That is the history of my name.
